Admissions Process

The moment that you choose to enter treatment at Kansas Drug Rehabilitation, you join a supportive and healing community that is dedicated to helping you achieve your goals and pursue a healthier future. The information on this page highlights some of the many issues that we believe are essential to ensuring that you make a smooth transition into treatment, and that your entire Kansas Drug Rehabilitation experience is as positive and productive as possible

We Help Patients Make Travel Arrangements

Patients are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to Tucson. For your convenience, Kansas Drug Rehabilitation has arranged for Hunter Travel to assist you with travel, if needed. You may contact Hunter Travel at 800-876-8785. If traveling by plane, bus, or train, Kansas Drug Rehabilitation will meet you at the baggage claim area when you disembark. We will need a physical description, so we know for whom to look.

Your Arrival

When you arrive on our campus, you will be welcomed by one of our very friendly staff members in our reception area. There will be some paperwork to complete (there’s always paperwork to complete, isn’t there?), and you’ll also meet with members of your treatment team, be given a brief tour of our facility, and be escorted to your room.

Patient Rights

At Kansas Drug Rehabilitation, we place a premium on providing respectful treatment of patients, family members, and staff in a safe and supportive environment. We have systems in place to ensure that the rights of our clients and their family members are preserved and protected. These rights are outlined in the patient handbook that will be given to you upon admission.

Confidentiality

Our commitment to each patient’s confidentiality is ensured by our legal responsibility as mandated by state and federal law. Each member of the Kansas Drug Rehabilitation team is dedicated to upholding these standards in all communications and records.

During the admissions process, patients will be told of our goal to support them in becoming nicotine-free. However, for those who do smoke, there is a designated area, outside only, where smoking is permitted. Patients will not be able to purchase cigarettes; it will be necessary for you to bring what you will consume during your stay. Smokeless tobacco, cigars, rolling tobacco, or pipes are not permitted at Kansas Drug Rehabilitation.
